Contacts – FM Simplex on the 2-meter band.
Frequency – 147.480mhz / For A Back Up – 146.535mhz
Note – I Will Be On a Trail With Two h/ts – One On 147.480mhz – The Other One Monitoring 146.775mhz NA1R Repeater
With Frank, W1FIC Setup In His Mobile The Picnic Table Would Be Nice, But Looking Ahead They Say Rain of course lol
No Worries If It Does Rain, We Will Still Get On The Air Simplex
As we know — line of sight is usually about 5 to 7 to 10 miles and then the curvature of the earth begins to limit your ability to transmit to another person by simplex / But depending on radios / Antennas / Power used let’s see what we can do to start out the spring
