Hi Everyone 

If you’re looking to hunt all Rhode Island references, the hardest one to get is US-0513, Block Island NWR. Only one operator has been out there since September of 2023.

I’ll be out there this Thursday, 20 March from about 1400 UTC on. I’m hoping to finish a Kilo, but I’m primarily looking to enjoy myself. I have a thing for operating from rocks in the ocean.

I have a QSL card for this particular reference that I’ll be sending out (yes, I know we don’t call them “K-“ any more – it was made two years ago). Block Island also counts for many other radio sport programs involving lighthouses and

Islands (but no summits, alas).
