Pilgrim Amateur Wireless Association
Hi Everyone
So, in the photos below the Picinic table was my office for Friday Nights PAWA 2 Meter summer sizzling Net
On 146.775mhz NA1R West Bridgewater Repeater
My gear was my Kenwood 210 along with my Kenwood TH- 20A h/ts
My location was Canoe River Campground in, Mansfield, Mass,
And if I known it sooner I would have done the net from the Peddle boats, but that’s ok
It will be coming up next time for sure lol, these outdoor adventure nets are awesome and most of all fun
Sending out a Big Thank you to everyone who stopped by to check in with me
Along with NA1R, Gary for the use of his 146.775mhz Repeater

The cell phone signal in the park is not the greatest but that sometimes happens in these locations
So that is another reason that will experiment, amateur radio never lets us down, and by doing this it lets us
See what we can do from where and with what gear that we need make it work
This net was done using only 5 watts setup down by the water, but in the case that did not work I had my
Yasu FT-2900 along with a Ringo antenna / 16ft painters pole / Tripod and was ready to set that up portable
If needed. But I like to start out with h/ts as we say sometimes less is more and this time it was
Amateur Radio – Staying connected when other communications fail, how true is that
Talk to you soon, my friends
Peddle boats on the air coming up next, lol and then where do we go from there, you just never know
Until next time, repeating for the PAWA
