No, it’s not Hawaii – it’s the caldera (volcano) that formed the island of Faial ten million years ago. I underestimated the time it would take to get up there, so I had a quick activation from the rim of the crater. I was glad to ger a lot of Europe, the East Coast of the US and Canada, and Alaska from here. Nice to get Fran Kelly KC1NDQ and Brian Duddy N2BTD and Mike CU3HY in the log!
