We decided to go out tonight for a quick late shift activation at US-2446 Massasoit State Park. We set up in the vehicle because it was getting late and the mosquitos were looking hungry. We figured we would put about 25 in the log and head home before the new day, but the band was alive and that didn’t happen! Almost 2 hours later we had 111 in the log after a continuous pile-up. We made contacts with Argentina, Portugal, Italy, Alaska, Spain, England, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and the West coast US and Canada! Pretty good night! Thanks for the contacts from PAWA members Mike-N1NTM, Frank-W1FIC,  Fran-KC1NDQ, and Matt-W7AAF. We were surprised at how many hunters were out there tonight and how far our signal was traveling! Hope this good propagation keeps up!

Note to self: remember to bring (and use) the bug spray!
